Inside Sales – B2B (IT Sales) – Telecommute / Work from Home Office
Job Description: Selling IT products and services, primarily mobile computers, data input devices, printers, networking components and security cameras. In addition to selling hardware we also offer installation and hardware repair services.
Will be working with companies nationwide in the warehousing, transportation and logistics industries. Sales will be made by phone and email communications.
Compensation: $11/hr + commissions. Commissions are 25% of gross profit for every sale a rep makes. Once the rep’s sales pipeline is somewhat developed, a sales rep should earn anywhere from $2,700 to $4,500 a month, conservatively. Earning more then $4,500 a month is certainly possible. There is no limit on the commissions a rep can earn.
Benefits: No benefits such as medical or retirement benefits are offered with this position.
There is no paid time off or sick leave offered with this position. However, a rep will still be paid commissions on their sales, even on orders received during their absence from work. There is no set limit on the amount of time a rep can take off but prior approval is required before vacation time is taken.
Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday. Flexible work hours - minimum of 5 hours to a maximum of 8 hours per day, between the hours of 7am to 5:30pm. Sales reps work the number of hours, per day, as they see fit.
Sales reps will be required to log into a work tracking application installed on a computer that will monitor their work activity. Reps will only be paid per hour on the times they are logged into the tracking application and are working or when they manually log time for attendance to company meetings.
Location: Sales reps must be located in the Coeur d’Alene, Hayden, Rathdrum or Post Falls area. Although this is a work from home position, the job will require attendance to company meetings in the Coeur d’Alene area once or twice a week. Meetings will last about an hour, give or take. In the beginning, for training purposes, meetings times maybe longer. There is some flexibility on when the meetings can take place.

- Be at least somewhat technical savvy on IT products or willing & able to learn.

Our approach to making sales is more like a consultant to our customers, then it is acting as a salesman. We work to build customer trust and loyalty by being responsive to customer’s requests, providing excellent customer service and quoting fair prices. We don’t do hard sales here, however, we are competitive and we like to win deals.
The sales rep in this position will be working directly with the owner of the company. The rep’s initial sales will come from existing customers or new leads that come in. The company will supply a list of existing customers & contacts for the sales rep to pursue. The sales rep will also need to have the ability and fortitude to seek and develop new customers by cold calling.
The Sales Rep in this position will not only get paid commissions on all of their sales but also on sales they assist in closing.
