Zebra has recently introduced the TC70/TC75 handheld touch computers. These rugged machines are designed for work in the field, boasting a fast wireless connection, an enhanced interchangeable battery, and an improved user interface, offering a superior experience to the older TC55 handheld computer.
The TC70 and TC75 computers have a lot to offer the enterprise world in terms of capabilities, including wireless connectivity. Both devices carry a 8.02.11a/b/g/n Wifi connection as well as an NFC connection. The TC75 also sports a 4G/LTE connection, bringing fast data wherever you go.
The handheld devices also bring a pleasant and easy user experience by taking multi-touch functionality to center stage with the Android operating system, making the device similar to the smartphones workers may be already familiar with. The multi-touch screens are rugged and versatile, allowing users to operate the devices with gloves on, bringing convenience to the field worker.
The new TC70/TC75 computers surpass the TC55 computer by offering a new, 14 hour battery that can be interchanged if needed. The new handheld devices also sport a much higher resolution 4.7 inch HD screen (1280×720 pixels) as opposed to the TC55’s 4.3 inch display (800×480 pixels). The TC70/TC75 computers also have a slightly faster processor, clocking in at 1.7 GHz vs the TC55’s 1.5 GHz processor.
The TC70/TC75 handheld touch computers are powerful, versatile, and user friendly devices that are designed for field work, bringing a new level of convenience and efficiency to enterprises.
